Former Obama aide Jon Lovett, co-host of the “Pod Save America” podcast, recently admitted in an interview with Jon Stewart that while he wasn’t “behind the scenes” like Biden’s handlers, he did stay silent about his concerns on Biden’s health and mental capabilities.
The episode of Jon Stewart’s “The Weekly Show” podcast aired on Thursday.
“I remember feeling, I want to talk about this as a huge liability,” Lovett recalled. “But I’m not going to go so far as to say, ‘I think Joe Biden must drop out. He is too old to be president.’”
“I want him to f*cking win because I care about the country!”
Lovett said he didn’t want to make too much noise and become “part of the case against Joe Biden from the Right.”

And I don’t want to be somebody suddenly having the words we’re saying taken out of context and all of a sudden part of the case against Joe Biden from the Right that would use any person criticizing Joe Biden from the Left as a weapon against him. So, it was a— it was about being honest about Joe Biden’s age as a liability, while knowing that if he is the nominee, I want to be clear that I thought it was important to make sure we did everything we could to re-elect him.
This comes amid multiple post-Biden scandals, including the autopen conspiracy, not-so-new revelations about Biden’s mental decline that are finally being reported by the leftist mainstream media, Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, and Biden’s recently unveiled cancer diagnosis.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) has identified five Biden aides who were involved in the cover-up of Joe Biden’s mental decline and autopen scandal and called for them to testify before the committee.
“As part of the investigation into the cover-up of President Joe Biden’s mental decline and potentially unauthorized use of autopen for sweeping pardons and other executive actions, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) today sent letters to President Biden’s physician and former White House aides demanding they appear for transcribed interviews,” House Oversight Committee announced in a press release.
Chairman Comer demanded testimony from: Biden White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Director of Domestic Policy Council Neera Tanden, Former Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to First Lady Jill Biden Anthony Bernal, Former Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff Annie Tomasini, Former Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations Ashley Williams.
Additionally, on Friday, former Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel John Yoo suggested that Attorney General Pam Bondi should appoint Robert Hur as the special counsel to investigate the people who conspired to conceal Biden’s declining health.
