As the Gateway Pundit reported earlier today, Jen Psaki of MSNBC recently made some vile comments about Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha.

According to Victor Davis Hanson, people like Psaki are going after Vance for a very specific reason and it’s about more than the fact that he could be the GOP candidate in 2028.

During an appearance on Newsmax today, Hanson said that Vance terrifies the left because he represents the continuation of MAGA. The left was hoping that Trump was a one-off. Vance means that MAGA could be around for many years to come.

Transcript via Overton News:

“They thought when he was selected as vice president, he brought nothing to the ticket because Ohio was going to be won, he was a White male, there was no diversity, but they didn’t really appreciate that he’s one of the best explicators of the MAGA agenda.”

“He eviscerated the media every time he got on television. He was a real force multiplier of the Trump ticket.”

“And they’re afraid of him.”

“And now they’re thinking, you know, we were betting on MAGA is inseparable from Trump. He was the sun, and without him there will be no sunlight.”

“And then people like Rubio and JD Vance come along and they think, oh my God, this thing could go on and on and on with this new populist Republican Party.”

“And they’re terrified of it, and so they feel that maybe she’s too sophisticated for this Appalachian-born Vance or whatever, but they’re terrified that MAGA will go beyond Donald Trump.”

“I think they should be terrified, because I think it will.”

Watch the clip:

Victor Davis Hanson just fired back at Jen Psaki’s attacks on Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha.

What he exposed goes far beyond simple political jabs.

They’re TERRIFIED that the MAGA movement isn’t tied to just one man…it could continue long into the future.

Vance is currently the odds on favorite for the 2028 nominee.

From the Center Square:

Poll: Vance, Trump Jr. early favorites to win GOP nod for next president

Vice President JD Vance is currently the strongest contender for the 2028 presidential election among Republican voters, according to a new poll.

The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll, conducted by Noble Predictive Insights, surveyed 2,565 registered voters from Oct. 2-6, 2025, via opt-in online panel and text-to-web cell phone messages. Only those who identified as Republican or Independent were asked to choose who among Republican contenders they’d vote for.

Among 978 registered Republicans and 178 Independents, JD Vance led the pack as the top choice among a group of potential GOP primary candidates and household names in the Republican Party. Thirty-eight percent of Republicans indicated they would vote for Vance if the Republican primary were held the day they were polled, as did 41% of Independents polled.

This is why Psaki and others are attacking Vance. As Rush Limbaugh used to say, the left will tell you who they fear.
