The civil trial of Coomer v Lindell et al. began this week in federal court in Colorado. The Gateway Pundit reported on the Order for Motions in Limine on Monday that outlined the judge’s ruling on preclusions as requested by the parties.
Yesterday was jury selection. Jurors were asked a myriad of questions about whether or not they knew who Mike Lindell was and whether they’ve heard about this trial in the media. They asked whether they believed President Donald Trump’s elections (plural) were rigged and if agree with the term “The Big Lie” in reference to whether or not the 2020 election was rigged.
They were asked if they had accounts on Truth Social or Parler. Did they follow Rudy Giuliani or Sidney Powell? Did you watch Fox News or Newsmax during the 2020 election? Are you familiar with the name Tina Peters? Joe Oltmann? The Cyber Symposium in August 2021? All of these questions and more were asked of the jurors.
Coomer’s attorney also filed a motion for a protective order for certain exhibits such as Coomer’s employee file, his resignation, an “email string regarding referral from K2 Intelligence,” some emails and materials from his therapist, a settlement agreement with Newsmax, and the separation agreement with Dominion Voting. As of this writing, the judge has yet to rule on that motion.

Opening Statements
Today began with opening statements. “You are disgusting. You are a traitor to the United States of America,” said Charlie Cain, Eric Coomer’s attorney, quoting Mike Lindell. Cain then painted Coomer as coming from a military family and a Colorado resident, given the case is being heard in Denver, by pointing out that he’s been a resident since 1998 and loves some of the same outdoor activities they may also enjoy as Colorado residents.
Counsel laid out Coomer’s experience as a high-level executive at Dominion Voting. He said that Coomer believes in transparency in elections and noted that there is always a paper trail.
Cain then talked about election fraud claims spread by Mike Lindell with the help of his employees. He displayed on a monitor the “key instigators” involved in those claims: Mike Lindell, Joe Oltmann, Tina Peters, Brannon Howse, and David Clements.
Lindell’s attorney, Chris Kachouroff, responded by naming Eric Coomer as the “Chief Instigator” in his opening statement. He mentioned how Coomer instigated and baited Lindell by serving him during a press conference in front of a crowd of people.
Kachouroff said that Coomer is trying to pin Lindell for guilt by association, lumping him in with others who have made remarks about Coomer and that he has proof that Coomer messaged his brother, “It’s time to shake the money tree, including the Pillow Man, Lindell.”
Ultimately, Lindell’s defense said that they won’t present evidence that the 2020 election was rigged because it only matters that he believed what he said was true. If he’s found liable for these allegations, the First Amendment is at stake and that whatever the jurors decide will determine whether or not people are willing to speak up for what they believe in in the future.
Day 2 of Coomer v. Lindell (The Trial of the Century) began with heated allegations and high stakes.

Coomer Testimony
Mike Lindell joined “The Absolute Truth” with Emerald Robinson during lunch to comment on the trial thus far. When asked what he thinks about the testimony so far, Lindell responded, “If I’m the jury, I’m kind of bored. He’s talking about the insides of the machines and stuff that we’ve never been able to see, right?”
Coomer testified, “I’ve never interfered with any election. I don’t even have the access to even contemplate doing something that – nor the desire,” according to 9news.
Lindell said that he feels like Coomer’s attorneys are “on the defense.” They were asking Coomer about his social media posts and how he can be unbiased, which he said he had no problem remaining unbiased, saying he had a “non-partisan” position at Dominion and “politics were left at the door.”
Coomer’s testimony will resume tomorrow.
“This is the gateway, the blessing, to finally expose the truth.”
