A shooter opened fire during a boys’ hockey game in the US state of Rhode Island on Monday, killing two people.
The shooting took place at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket during a matchup between Coventry/Johnston and Blackstone Valley Co-op.
Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said the attack appears to have been targeted and stemmed from a family dispute. She added that, after killing two people, the suspect died from what authorities believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
She identified the shooter as Robert Dorgan, who also went by the name Roberta Esposito and was born in 1969.
