During his DC trip that ended today, Vladimir Putin’s Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev held negotiations with Steve Witkoff members of Donald J. Trump’s administration, and went on a media blitz: FOX News, CNN, Newsmax… always touting the progress made on the Peace Process between the US and Russia.
The mere emergence of Dmitriev as a major negotiator for the Russian side is a great development: not only is he the most knowledgeable between top officials when it comes to the US, he is also the greatest cheerleader for the détente between the nuclear superpowers among Putin’s aides.
