ForbesToday’s NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Thursday, June 12th

Uh oh, it’s Friday the 13th! It might be just another beautiful summer’s day, but it’s also the most ominous day of the year. Be afraid, folks. Very afraid. If you see any black cats, avoid them at all costs. Don’t walk under ladders. Grab a lucky rabbit’s foot and some garlic. And once you’re prepared for any superstitious outcome imaginable, sit down and solve this Mini Crossword with me . . . .

The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

Well, not a bad Friday the 13th puzzle. I thought I’d do worse, but even though some of these threw me off — I used DRS instead of MDS at first — most were fairly simple. Funny to have skiing excursions and hot beverages on such a summery day! This one took me 1:30.
