Three Days Grace just kicked off the latest era of their time together as a band, as their new single “Mayday” arrived in mid-November. As that first taste of an upcoming album continues to reach audiences across the U.S., the group collects another top 10 hit on an important chart–with one of their oldest and most famous smashes.

“Animal I Have Become” finally reaches the top 10 on one Billboard ranking after coming very close on multiple occasions. The single has been a favorite among Three Days Grace’s fans for nearly two decades, but it’s currently more successful than ever–at least on one specific tally.

Three Days Grace scores a new top 10 smash on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart with “Animal I Have Become” this period. The single lifts from No. 14 to No. 9, hitting both the loftiest tier and a new peak at the same time.

Despite their years as one of the biggest names in the hard rock genre, Three Days Grace claims a shockingly low number of top 10s on Billboard’s ranking of the most-streamed tracks in that style. The band has only seen two of their most popular releases reach that competitive space, and they currently appear right next to one another.

“(I Hate) Everything About You” is also on the rise on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart this week. The band’s other behemoth shoots from No. 10 to No. 8, which also marks a new all-time best showing for the cut. Those are the only two top 10s from the rockers on the streaming-focused roster.

Three Days Grace has scored three hits on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs ranking throughout the years, including their current focus. “Mayday” launched and peaked at No. 21 on the tally on the chart dated December 7, 2024, and it fell away immediately after that start, though it’s performing better on other rosters.

“Animal I Have Become” needed 43 weeks to crack the top 10 on the hard rock tally, which is a long time for any tune to wait before entering the loftiest space on any of Billboard’s lists. “(I Hate) Everything About You” has lived on the roster for even longer–69 frames, thus far–but it had already spent time inside the uppermost area before now.
