The Branch Covidians and Pro-Iran War MAGA Have More in Common than You Think

Whether it’s the syringe or a Tomahawk, the unelected lifers running the show have simply traded masks for missiles, proving the “regime” never changes—it only rebrands its flavor of tyranny for a new set of followers.

It is a fascinating, if not entirely predictable, spectacle to watch the same people who spent four years decrying “government overreach” and “medical tyranny” suddenly line up to salute the same state machinery as it rains hellfire on a sovereign nation halfway across the globe. We are told to believe that the “Deep State” was a villainous cabal when it was pushing unconstitutional mask mandates and experimental injections, but that same shadowy apparatus is apparently now a force for liberation because it’s targeting a different set of “bad guys” in Tehran. The cognitive dissonance required to maintain these two positions simultaneously is staggering, yet it is currently the dominant operating system for millions of Americans who went from standing against one form of state-sponsored hysteria to unquestioningly supporting another.

If you look closely at the current 2026 campaign against Iran, the parallels to the 2020 COVID regime are not just present; they are identical. Back then, the “experts” at the CDC and the NIH used fear to demand absolute obedience, telling us that anyone who questioned the narrative was a threat to public safety. Today, the “experts” at the Pentagon and the CIA are using that same fear to demand “unity,” branding anyone who questions the morality or the strategic necessity of this war as a “regime sympathizer,” an “antisemite” or a traitor to the cause of freedom. Both regimes rely on the same fundamental lie: that the individual’s rights are secondary to a state-defined “greater good,” whether that good is a virus-free world or a Middle East remade in the image of neocons.

These unelected lifers have perfected the art of the permanent crisis, ensuring that whether the fear is a microscopic pathogen or a “rogue state,” the answer is always more centralized control. We see the same faces at the National Security Council and the CIA who laundered the “intelligence” used to silence dissent during the lockdowns now providing the “evidence” for why your tax dollars must be incinerated in a war with Iran. The partisan faithful are too busy cheering for their “team” to realize that the same hands that forced a mask on their face are the ones now loading the drones.

The financial architecture of this permanent crisis is held together by a revolving door that ensures the same cabal profiting from the jab is now cashing in on the javelins. Look no further than Scott Gottlieb, the former FDA Commissioner who seamlessly transitioned to the board of Pfizer while simultaneously sitting on the board of National Resilience, Inc., a “biomanufacturing” firm heavily subsidized by the Department of War under the guise of “national security.” This incestuous relationship is reinforced by the institutional giants like Vanguard, whose former CEO Mortimer J. Buckley now sits on the board of Boeing, ensuring that the same investment engines driving the COVID-era mandates are steering the current war machine. Under the 2026 National Defense Strategy, the state has even codified this merger through “National Priority Vouchers,” a scheme that prioritizes drug development based on its military utility.

While the FDA focuses on the “public health” facade, the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and the BIOSECURE Act are the pieces of legislation that actually codify this. They direct the government to expand “defense-relevant biotechnology” by using the FDA’s expedited review power to favor companies that onshore production of military-critical pharmaceuticals.

It is the ultimate “biosecurity” racket: they create the “health” crisis to justify the surveillance, and then use the surveillance to justify the “security” crisis, all while the same handful of asset managers at BlackRock and State Street own the majority shares of both the needle and the drone.

It is a masterclass in psychological warfare to watch the MAGA base, which spent years screaming about “Deep State” overreach at the CDC, now pledge total obedience to the same intelligence agencies claiming that regime change in Tehran is a matter of national survival. They’ve forgotten that the “intelligence community” is a singular beast that doesn’t care about your political affiliation, only its own expansion. If you think the people who lied about the efficacy of a drug are suddenly telling you the unvarnished truth about the necessity of a third world war, you haven’t been paying attention to how this machine operates.

The mask fully slipped this week when Joe Kent, the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, resigned in a firestorm of truth that the establishment is now desperate to extinguish. Kent, a man who has given more to this country’s military machine than almost anyone—having lost his wife, Navy Senior Chief Shannon Kent, to an ISIS bombing in Syria—didn’t just walk away; he torched the bridge on his way out. He stated unequivocally that Iran posed no “imminent threat” to the United States and that the strings of this war are being pulled by Israel, effectively calling out the “Deep State” actors who have hijacked the “America First” platform to serve foreign interests.

The response from the so-called “patriots” was as swift as it was disgusting, with figures like Lindsey Graham and Laura Loomer immediately branding Kent a “traitor” and an “antisemite” for daring to suggest that American lives shouldn’t be sacrificed for an Israeli geopolitical agenda. It’s the same script we saw in 2020: if you question the state’s mandates, you’re a “grandma killer”; if you question the state’s war, you’re a “terrorist sympathizer.” The irony is that Kent’s resignation has laid bare a massive schism in the Trump base, with a growing number of young MAGA voters finally realizing they’ve been sold a bill of goods.

Trump himself added to the absurdity on Thursday morning, taking to social media to tweet a bipolar ultimatum regarding the world’s largest natural gas reserves. After Israel “violently lashed out” at Iran’s South Pars gas fields, Trump barked in all caps that “NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL” on the facility, only to immediately threaten to “massively blow up the entirety” of it himself if Iran continues targeting Qatari energy infrastructure. It is the height of “regime” logic: we will destroy the thing we are supposedly protecting you from, just to prove we’re the ones in charge.

This is the exact same “logic” the Democrats utilized in 2020 when they praised Trump for his initial two-weeks-to-flatten-the-curve plan and the rapid-fire implementation of Operation Warp Speed. Back then, the Left was more than happy to lock step with Trump’s executive overreach because it served the broader goal of state expansion and societal control. They cheered the printing of trillions of dollars and the suspension of the Bill of Rights because, in their eyes, the “crisis” justified any level of tyranny. Now, the roles have shifted, but the outcome is the same: the uniparty is united in its pursuit of war.

Even Hillary Clinton, the high priestess of the interventionist Left, has predictably come out in full support of Trump’s aggressive posture toward Iran, proving once again that when it comes to the “regime change regime,” there is no daylight between the red and blue wings of the state. She and the rest of the establishment recognize that war is the ultimate distraction, a way to keep the populace divided and dependent while they further entrench their power. Those who believe they are fighting for “liberty” by supporting this war are merely being used as foot soldiers for a globalist agenda that views their lives as expendable.

The lockdowns were a dry run for the kind of control the state wants to exert permanently, and this latest conflict provides the emergency justification to keep those powers in place under the guise of “national security.” We must recognize that the “regime” is not a person or a party, but a systemic commitment to force and coercion as the primary tools of social and global organization. Whether it’s a bureaucrat in a lab coat or a general in a suit, the goal is the same: the subjugation of the individual to the will of the state. Real freedom doesn’t come from choosing which dictator gets to tell you what to do; it comes from the total rejection of the idea that anyone has the right to rule over you.

The solution isn’t found in a ballot box or a new set of “leaders” who promise to use the state’s guns more effectively; it’s found in the radical act of opting out. Just as people found ways to circumvent the mandates through decentralized networks and parallel economies, we must now find ways to resist the war machine by withdrawing our consent and our resources from the state. We have to stop looking to the same entities that created these problems—the deep state, the central banks, and the corrupt political class—to solve them. They thrive on our fear and our division, and as long as we keep falling for the “us vs. them” narrative, they will continue to plunder our wealth and sacrifice our lives on the altar of their own ambition.

We are living through a period of unprecedented deception, where the truth is buried under layers of state-sponsored propaganda and tribal loyalty. But the truth remains: there is no moral difference between a government that forces you to take a drug and a government that forces you to kill a stranger. Both are violations of the most fundamental right we possess—the right to our own bodies and our own lives. If we want a world of peace and liberty, we have to be consistent in our opposition to aggression, no matter who is holding the gun or what flag they happen to be waving. It is time to break the cycle of obedience and start building the voluntary world we want to see.
