Luckily, June brings an impressive lineup of new and returning shows, including The Bear, Squid Game, The Gilded Age and more. Here’s your guide to the best new TV shows streaming this month.
June kicks off with Apple TV+’s new golf comedy Stick, starring Owen Wilson as a washed-up golfer who takes on the role of mentor to a teenage golf phenom. Other new shows to note include Prime Video’s We Were Liars, based on the bestselling novel by E. Lockhart, which is set to bring all the New England and mystery vibes. There’s also Netflix’s The Waterfront, a true story that follows the Buckley family as they attempt to retain control of their crumbling North Carolina fishing empire.
As for returning series, some of the biggest streaming hits are making their comeback in June. You won’t want to miss Season 4 of FX and Hulu’s The Bear, the third and final season of Netflix’s Squid Game, the fifth season of the Christian faith-based series The Chosen and much more. The lineup also includes the second installment of Apple TV+’s period hit The Buccaneers, with Gossip Girl favorite Leighton Meester joining the cast in Season 2.

Ginny & Georgia (Season 3)

Synopsis: The third season of Ginny & Georgia picks up after Georgia (Brianne Howey) is arrested for murder during her wedding at the end of Season 2. “It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this,” according to Netflix’s synopsis. “Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – Is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”

The Chosen (Season 5)
“The Chosen: The Last Supper” is now in theaters.

Synopsis: After premiering in theaters this Spring, The Chosen: The Last Supper is making its debut on Prime Video. The people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while his disciples anticipate his crowning. But—instead of confronting Rome—he turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival.
