Police in San Antonio arrested a 19-year-old man for his comments on a Facebook post implying a threat against the attendees of a University of Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) prayer vigil for the late Charlie Kirk. He faces a charge of making a terroristic threat. Breitbart Texas’s Randy Clark was in attendance at the vigil and interviewed the president of the UTSA Turning Point USA chapter.

An arrest affidavit reported by KSAT 12 in San Antonio states that Xaelyn Dunbar was arrested on a terroristic threat charge following a Facebook post where he reportedly said that attending the September 15 prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk “won’t be good nor comforting.”

“This is a disgrace and I can tell you right now ima make sure this won’t be a good nor comforting vigil yall watch and see,” Dunbar wrote, according to the affidavit. He went on to imply he would use a Ford 25o deisel truck to carry out his threat.

“You’ll see tmr I jus wouldn’t advise tryna stop a ford 250 Diesel truck. Show yall how much Charlie really means,” the affidavit states.

Officers from the San Antonio and Universal City police departments visited Dunbar’s home for a “welfare check.” He reportedly told the officers he understood why they were they and admitted to the posts.

Dunbar claimed in was “being dumb” and “clowning around,” KSAT reported.

Breitbart’s Randy Clark attended the prayer vigil on the UTSA campus and interviewed Turning Point USA chapter president Jack Harrell.

Clark wrote:

Harrell spoke to Breitbart Texas after the conclusion of a candlelight vigil at the campus in honor of Turning Point USA founder and conservative free-speech advocate Charlie Kirk. Breitbart Texas attended the vigil and reported that around 2,000 mourners gathered at the UTSA campus on Monday evening to honor the late Turning Point USA founder after his assassination last week at Utah Valley University in front of a crowd of thousands of students and supporters there to hear him speak.

The event was attended by approximately 2,000 people who gathered to honor Charlie Kirk’s life, which was cut short by an assassin on September 10.

Dunbar was booked into the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department Adult Detention Center with a bond set at $40,000. The punishment range for this offense ranges from six months in county jail to 10 years in prison depending on the level of the charge.
