Texas DPS pursue drug smuggler and illegal aliens on high-speed chase and K-9 pursuit on foot. Footage from 6/28/25. Posted 7/2/25

Border crossings have been down about 99 percent since President Trump resumed office. During the campaign, he promised the American people he would shut down the border completely. He was correct when he said we needed a new President, not a new bill to close the border.

With that said, four years of the Biden regime has done catastrophic damage, with millions of illegal aliens intentionally brought into the US to destroy our way of life. Law enforcement will have their hands full for years combating illegal aliens and drug smuggling.

Texas DPS pursued a drug smuggler in Cameron County carrying 97 pounds of marijuana in a Chevy Tahoe. The driver, Cris Daniel Mendoza, refused to stop for the trooper, which led to a high-speed chase.

After taking off quickly, the driver eventually stopped. Multiple people, including the driver and illegal aliens, can be seen exiting the vehicle and running away. After that, DPS troopers brought out the K-9 unit for a one-mile trek to locate the driver and two of the illegal aliens. It appears that the rest of the group got away.

The driver and smuggler Mendoza, along with the other suspects, are facing charges of evading arrest, marijuana possession, and being involved with organized crime.

Watch:

Operation Lone Star was launched in 2021 by Republican Governor Greg Abbott in an effort to stop deadly drugs like fentanyl from entering the US. In addition, the operation included efforts to deter illegal immigration with the support of Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution clearly states the US Government’s authority and responsibility to protect the nation from an invasion.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution.
