Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is getting lit up on social media this morning after forcing the Senate to stall passage of President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.”
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Senate last night advanced Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” to a full debate despite two GOP defections after hours of drama.
The legislation accomplishes several critical policies, including making the Trump tax cuts permanent, eliminating taxation on tips and overtime, locking down the border, and taking an axe to Joe Biden’s green energy scam.
Following the vote, Schumer took to social media to vow that he would make the Senate read the entire 940 page bill to stall the bill’s likely inevitable passage.
“Republicans are squirming,” Schumer stated. “I know d*mn well they haven’t read the bill.”
“So, we’re going to make them.”

However, per Senate procedure, the poor, overworked Senate clerk was to begin the reading, which would take about 15 hours.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Schumer treid to force the Senate to read the bill prior to the vote.
X users responded with widespread mockery, with some even bringing up Nancy Pelosi’s infamous “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it” remark during the debate over Obamacare years ago.
