Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) on Tuesday said he was not invited to President Trump’s White House lunch.
President Trump met with Senate Republicans in the Rose Garden on Tuesday, on day 21 of Schumer’s government shutdown.
The Senate has failed to fund/reopen the government 11 times since October 1.
President Trump said Republicans will not be “extorted” as the Democrats demand taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal aliens.
Trump also roasted Rand Paul.
“If he wanted to come, I’d probably let him…begrudgingly!”
“We’re just missing one person. You’ll never guess who that is. Let me give you – he automatically votes no on everything,” Trump said.
“He thinks it’s good politics. It’s really not good politics. It’s an automatic no,” Trump said.

Later Tuesday Senator Rand Paul claimed that he was not invited to the Rose Garden luncheon after Trump roasted him during remarks in the Rose Garden.
Over the weekend, President Trump also lashed out at Rand Paul for voting with Democrats.
“Whatever happened to “Senator” Rand Paul? He was never great, but he went really BAD! I got him elected, TWICE (in the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky!), but he just never votes positively for the Republican Party. He’s a nasty liddle’ guy, much like “Congressman” Thomas Massie, aka Rand Paul Jr., also of Kentucky (which I won three times, in massive landslides!), a sick Wacko, who refuses to vote for our great Republican Party, MAGA, or America First. It’s really weird!!!” President Trump said on Truth Social over the weekend.
Rand Paul said he had lunch with RINO Rep. Massie instead.
“I actually wasn’t invited to the White House lunch today, but that’s ok I had a previously scheduled Liberty Caucus Lunch with Massie,” Rand Paul said.

This isn’t the first time Rand Paul has been frozen out of a White House event over a disagreement with President Trump.
Senator Paul had repeatedly criticized Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill because the president wanted to raise the debt ceiling.
In June, in remarks to reporters, Senator Rand Paul said he was disinvited from the White House picnic.
The Kentucky Senator called it “petty vindictiveness’ in remarks to CNN’s Manu Raju and other reporters.

Rand Paul was later invited to the picnic.
