Sabrina Carpenter scores a brand new hit all around the world this week with “Manchild,” the lead single from her forthcoming album Man’s Best Friend. The track earns a huge debut, landing on charts seemingly everywhere in impressive starting positions, especially on Billboard’s worldwide tallies.

All the excitement around the country-tinged pop tune appears to have had a spillover effect, as multiple other tracks by Carpenter are climbing internationally.

Sabrina Carpenter Claims Multiple Global Hits

Carpenter currently fills five spaces on the Billboard Global 200, including with “Manchild.” All but one of those tracks also appear on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., which operates in much the same manner, only with streams and sales from American audiences removed. All of the Grammy winner’s tracks are growing, and in one instance, a previous favorite even manages to return.

“Espresso,” “Taste” and “Please Please Please” Climb

“Espresso,” “Taste” and “Please Please Please” are the three biggest hits from Carpenter’s 2024 album Short n’ Sweet. Each rises on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at the same time. Among that trio, “Espresso” is the greatest gainer, as it presently sits inside the top 20 on both rankings, 61 weeks into its stay. All three tracks are currently present inside the upper half of the 200-spot rosters.

“Busy Woman” Mounts a Comeback

Before “Manchild,” Carpenter’s most recent single was “Busy Woman,” a track that was added to the deluxe edition of Short n’ Sweet months after the album’s debut. “Busy Woman” doesn’t find space on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. this week, but it does reenter the Billboard Global 200 at No. 155.

“Manchild” Nearly Reaches No. 1

Carpenter almost earned another No. 1 on the two planet-spanning tallies as “Manchild” debuts. The quick win launches at No. 2 on both rankings, giving the pop superstar her fourth top 10. Only “Ordinary” by Alex Warren keeps her from the throne, as that tune is easily one of the biggest hits of 2025 all around the world.
