King Charles against scandalous brother Prince Andrew; prodigal son Prince Harry against his heir-to-the-throne Prince William, against his father the King, against ‘that woman’, his stepmother the Queen.
The Windsor Royal family is rife with family feuds, and now a report arises suggesting another vector of conflict has emerged: Queen Camilla would be urging King Charles to keep his heir, Prince William, from ‘trying to create issues’ within the monarchy.
A former royal photographer has been quoted by the British Press saying that William ‘is overstepping boundaries’ while Charles is still King.
The Daily Express reported:
“Ian Pelham Turner commended Charles for his leadership while suggesting that certain rough edges require ‘smoothing out’ throughout the Royal Family.
The royal insider has observed a transformation in the monarch, believing Camilla has significantly influenced him as Charles regains his vitality.
We spoke to Mr. Pelham Turner during a Zoom call, who said: ‘Charles has great humanity, and I think he just needed the corners smoothed out, and I think that’s what Camilla has done more than anything’.”
Turner said that the Queen sees William ‘trying to create issues’ and she’s told Charles to stop it.
“Pelham Turner shared his thoughts on the matter: ‘I want Charles to have his time, I get it, I think in a lot of ways, he is a very good King, I really do, and I think, where he’s come in his life now with Camilla by his side, Camilla is a much stronger person, I think, for him. […] When I look at Camilla nowadays, although she’s still vilified by women over 50, because they remember Diana, I think in a lot of ways, she’s actually taught Charles how to be human’.”
That’s the exact problem Charles’ estranged son Harry has with Camilla. For him, she will always be the woman who betrayed his mother Diana.

In his memoir ‘Spare’, Harry called Camilla ‘dangerous’ and ‘the villain’, as part of his relentless undermining of his father’s reign.
The New York Post reported back in May 2024:
“Now, a friend of the Firm has claimed that Harry ‘forced’ his estranged father to choose between the Duke and his wife, Queen Camilla — ultimately widening the rift even further.
‘Harry has made things very difficult for himself by saying such cruel and hurtful things about Camilla. Charles loves his sons, but he also loves his wife. The last few months have made it very clear how important she is; she has been the one propping up the whole edifice’.
Harry has made it very clear, very publicly, that he despises her,” the insider added. ‘He has forced Charles to choose, which was a very silly thing to do because Camilla and he both chose each other a long time ago’.”
