One of the qualities both Trump’s enemies consistently underestimate about him is his remarkable quick wit, which not only endears him to millions of Americans but also puts the left to shame. This noteworthy talent was again displayed today during a press conference at the White House.

On Thursday, Trump signed three executive orders targeting California’s attempt to force its residents to adopt electric vehicles. 11 other blue states have adopted California’s scheme.

The resolutions will repeal and reverse state-level mandates that the Biden regime had backed.

Toward the end of the press conference following the executive actions, a reporter decided to ask Trump about the nationwide “No Kings Day” Protests planned against him on Saturday.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Wednesday that entrepreneur and political commentator Patrick Bet-David (PBD) revealed Democrats and their NGO allies are planning over 1,500 coordinated protests across all 50 states—a setup, he warns, designed to sabotage President Trump and ignite another wave of nationwide unrest heading into the midterm election.

Some of these are reportedly tied to woke billionaire Walmart heiress Christy Walton.

“There are ‘No Kings Protests’ planned against the country on Saturday. What are your thoughts on those?” the reporter inquired.

“I don’t feel like a king, I have to go through h*ll to get stuff approved,” Trump quipped as the room laughed.

“A king would never have had the California mandate to even be talking to you,” he added as some in the audience continued to chuckle. “He wouldn’t have to call up Mike Johnson and Thune and say ‘fellas, you gotta pull this off.’”

“Nah, (I’m) not king at all, thank you very much.”
