Americans in Arizona are memorializing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk – who was murdered by a gunman on Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University – with photos, flowers, and notes to the late conservative activist.
While speaking before a crowd on the college campus, Kirk was shot in the neck by a gunman who the Federal Bureau of Investigation says remains at large. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and died from his injuries.
Kirk leaves behind his wife Erika and their two young children.
At Turning Point’s headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, Americans quickly flocked to leave flowers, notes, and photos of the conservative activist.
Some were photographed kneeling before a sign that reads, “May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving Savior.” Another sign placed at the offices reads, “No compromise with evil, God is with Charlie and his family.”
