With recent college graduations happening around the country and the start of a new year meaning a fresh start for everyone, WalletHub has released its list of the best places to find a job in the US.

The job market remained strong in 2024, and unemployment stayed fairly low. Some employers even experienced labor shortages, which gave job seekers leverage when negotiating their compensation and benefits.

To determine the best job markets in the U.S., WalletHub compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across two key dimensions, “Job Market” and “Socio-economics.”
After comparing all the factors, it was found that Orlando ranks #10 in the USA for job seekers hoping to land a high-quality job.

That makes Orlando the best city in the state of Florida for finding a job, with other cities such as Miami (48th), Jacksonville (92nd), and Tallahassee (124th) coming in much lower.
