Olivia Rodrigo Returns To No. 1 With One Of Her Biggest Songs

Olivia Rodrigo is in the middle of touring her latest album, Guts. The singer-songwriter’s Guts World Tour began in February of this year, and it’s scheduled to continue into next July. As she plays to huge crowds in countries all around the world, proving herself to be a global superstar, one of her biggest singles is back on top.

“Vampire” reappears ahead of every other tune on one chart in the U.K. this week. Rodrigo’s smash doesn’t just find its way back to the Official Vinyl Singles tally—it returns to the highest rung possible.

Rodrigo scored her first hit on the Official Vinyl Singles chart with “Vampire,” which reached the tally last July. The track debuted at No. 1, earning the singer not just her initial placement on the roster, but her first leader, all at once.

Since then, “Vampire” has only managed to spend five nonconsecutive weeks on the vinyl-only roster. This frame, it’s fifth, marks its second at No. 1.

Throughout her career, Rodrigo has sent five different releases to the Official Vinyl Singles list, starting with “Vampire.” All of them have risen into the top five on the ranking, and her most recent appearance doubled her total number of leaders not long ago.

Her cover of Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” also managed to hit No. 1 upon its arrival. That track topped the Official Vinyl Singles tally this past May.

This week, “Vampire” is present on more than just the list of the bestselling vinyl songs in the U.K. The smash is also back on the Official Singles Sales tally, where it re-enters at No. 12. It can also be found on the Official Physical Singles chart, where it ascends more than 50 rungs to No. 3.

Rodrigo released “Vampire” in late June 2023. The track served as the first taste of her then-forthcoming sophomore album Guts. The single was a huge hit all around the world, and clearly some of her fans are still intrigued by the tune, as they are still purchasing it on vinyl whenever it’s available.
