Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) may be about to make every Republican’s dreams come true in the coming months and create a total nightmare for her party.
As Axios reported, Crockett told SiriusXM radio on Wednesday that she is “strongly considering” jumping into the open Democratic Texas Senate primary. She gave multiple reasons why she may run.
The first reason is that Crockett is well aware of polling showing that she would be the person to beat for the Democratic nomination.
“Every other day, there’s a poll that comes out that makes it clear that I can win the primary for the U.S. Senate race in Texas,” she said. “And I am looking.”
Crockett also expressed anger that the Texas State legislature decided to break up her gerrymandered district earlier this year in an effort to add more Republican seats to help the GOP maintain control of Congress.
“If you want to take my seat of 766,000 away, I feel like there has to be some karma in that to where I take your seat that is for 30 million away,” she boasted.
Crockett said her final decision regarding whether to launch the campaign will be whether she can expand the electorate. This means either dragging more Democrats to the polls or manufacturing enough votes to ‘win.’
“The question will be whether or not we believe that we’ve got enough juice to expand the electorate,” she said. “If we can expand the electorate, then I will strongly be considering hopping in the Senate race.”
Crockett indeed would stand a credible chance of seizing the Democratic nomination. A recent poll showed her with 31% of the vote, six points ahead of her nearest competitor.
Should Crockett run and win her party’s nomination, she would likely face off against either RINO Senator John Cornyn (RINO-TX) or conservative Attorney General Ken Paxton. Rep. Wesley Hunt is also running for the GOP Senate nomination.
A Crockett nomination would be the best possible outcome for the GOP. Not only is she radical left to the core, but she has made a career of uttering racist and cruel statements against those who oppose her.
For example, she called President Trump “wannabe Hitler” and that she doesn’t “necessarily” want her supporters to go out and hurt Republicans, leaving the door open to violence.
Earlier this year, Crockett also attacked a journalist for daring to question her about her violent remarks toward Elon Musk and Tesla.
She is a GOP opposition researcher’s dream. If she wins the nomination, she will become the face of the Democratic Party. Then, they will end her career for good.
