NEW: Over Half a Million Haitians Living in America Now Face Deportation After Trump Admin. Terminates Their ‘Temporary Protected Status’

More than half a million individuals from the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere will have to go back home in the coming months as Team Trump continues to enforce immigration law properly.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced on Friday in a press release that she will terminate ‘temporary protected status’ (TPS) for the country of Haiti. The TPS designation for Haiti ends on Aug. 3, 2025, and the termination will go into effect on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

There are roughly 520,000 Haitians currently living in the US.

“This decision restores integrity in our immigration system and ensures that Temporary Protective Status is actually temporary,” a DHS spokesperson said regarding the move. “The environmental situation in Haiti has improved enough that it is safe for Haitian citizens to return home.

“We encourage these individuals to take advantage of the Department’s resources in returning to Haiti, which can be arranged through the CBP Home app. Haitian nationals may pursue lawful status through other immigration benefit requests, if eligible.”

According to the press release, Noem determined that, based on a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services review of the conditions in Haiti and in consultation with the Department of State, conditions in Haiti have improved to the point where Haitians residing in America can return home.

Moreover, Noem decided that allowing Haitian nationals to remain in America temporarily runs counter to America’s national interest.

The decision by the DHS comes one month after the Supreme Court ruled that it would allow the Trump administration to revoke legal status for more than 500,000 people from Cuba, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Venezuela to temporarily live and work in America.

The Trump Administration previously appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court following an Obama judge’s ruling, demanding the revocation of temporary legal status for these migrants.

This move will prove welcome news to many communities around the United States, especially Springfield, Ohio. As TGP readers know, Springfield residents last year alleged Haitians in their town were “grabbing up ducks by their necks, decapitating them, and walking off with them to eat.”

Others revealed how the massive influx of immigrants, thanks to then-border czar Kamala Harris, drained Springfield’s resources and turned a once-safe city into a crime-ridden hell.

One resident even claimed she spotted a cat hanging from a branch and being carved up for food by Haitian immigrants. Reports also emerged that American veterans who have put their lives on the line were getting denied benefits while Haitians sponged off the taxpayers for absolutely nothing.
