Nonstop flights from Rochester to Nashville, Tennessee and Wilmington, North Carolina take off this week via Avelo Airlines.

Starting Thursday, the discount carrier will fly Thursdays and Sundays between Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and Nashville International Airport. Starting Friday, the airline with fly twice weekly – Mondays and Friday – between Rochester and the Wilmington International Airport.

“Avelo continues to invest in our area with inexpensive, non-stop flights to destinations people want to visit and enjoy,” Monroe County Executive Adam Bello said in a news release.

Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft will be used on the routes.

How much are flights from Rochester to Nashville, Wilmington?

One-way fares from Rochester start at $39 per person, according to the airline.

Avelo also offers nonstop service to Rochester, North Carolina’s Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport and Central Florida’s Lakeland International Airport.
