Metro Nashville Police have identified a missing Putnam County woman as the victim of an April 11 fatal shooting in Hermitage.
The woman, identified as Cassidy Jackson, 23, was found lying unconscious in Rachels Lane with “trauma to the head,” police said in a news release.
Jackson was reported missing by her family on April 12.
She was found with no personal items on her and was taken to Skyline Medical Center, where she died.
Police are continuing to investigate Jackson’s death.
No suspects have been named.
