Memorial Day “Drive by” Shooting in Philadelphia Leaves 2 Dead, 9 Injured

Two were killed and nine were injured after gunfire erupted in high-crime Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park at around 10:27 pm on Monday.

The left-wing media calls this, as they do with any instance of gun crime that leaves a minimum of four injured, a “mass shooting,” though most people would relate a mass shooting to something more severe.

The Gun Violence Archive and leftist media outlets identify mass shootings as incidents with “a minimum of four victims shot, either injured or killed, not including any shooter who may also have been killed or injured in the incident” to inflate the number of so-called mass shootings and further their narrative.

City officials believe that at least three shooters were involved in the incident, indicating likely gang violence. Still, the Left will use this incident as an excuse to push gun control measures instead of addressing the culture and crime among inner-city Blacks, the largest demographic in the city of Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania Firearms Association posted a clip from Chris Dorr, laying out the truth about this likely act of Black-on-Black crime.

Nobody is in custody at this time.

Eyewitnesses corroborated the likely gang-related nature of the incident, saying they believed it was a “drive-by” at their cookout party. “I seen two people drop,” one woman told a citizen journalist:

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Two people are dead and nine others were wounded after a mass shooting in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park late Monday night.

The victims killed include an adult man and an adult woman. They have been identified as 23-year-old Amya Devlin and 21-year-old Mikhail Bowers.

The victims who were wounded range in age from 15 to 28 years old, all of whom are in stable condition at area hospitals.

Mayor Cherelle Parker said during a news conference on Tuesday that there are believed to be three shooters involved.
