The Las Cruces Police Department held a news conference at Las Cruces City Hall to address the recent ‘mass shooting’ at Young Park that resulted in three fatalities and 15 injuries. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Friday, March 21.

Police are continuing their investigation into the events of that night. The victims have been identified as two 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy. The names of the deceased and those injured are not being released at this time. Investigators have stated that the ages of the injured range from 16 to 36.
