When it comes to Lady Gaga, the focus at the moment is on her brand new album Mayhem. The dance-pop collection was released on Friday, March 7, and seems like it’s headed straight for No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Several of the singles featured on the project are still performing well, and it’s likely that in a few days, she’ll debut a number of tracks across a variety of Billboard rankings, as it seems that Mayhem is bound for glory on the weekly rankings.

Mayhem is not on the charts at the moment, as it’s still too new, but Gaga still manages to appear on a number of Billboard’s album tallies as several of her classics continue to chart. One quickly forgotten collection even manages to reappear.

Lady Gaga’s Harlequin Returns

Harlequin is back on a Billboard ranking this frame. The set breaks back onto the Jazz Albums tally, the company’s ranking of the most-consumed jazz releases in the U.S., at No. 25. The list only features 25 spaces, so Gaga just barely managed to find space on the tally.

Harlequin’s History

Gaga released Harlequin in September 2024. The full-length, which features a variety of covers and a handful of new compositions, isn’t even half a year old, yet it’s seemingly been long forgotten by many fans.

The project was tied closely to Gaga’s starring role in Joker: Folie à Deux, the second in that series. While big things were expected from the film and, by association, Gaga’s album, both turned out to be disappointments. Joker: Folie à Deux stands out as one of the biggest box office bombs in recent memory, while Gaga’s full-length only spent a handful of weeks across the Billboard charts before disappearing.

Several Lady Gaga Albums are Still Performing Well

It seems that interest in Gaga and her catalog helps Harlequin this week, as opposed to any special release or promotion. The singer-songwriter is not focusing on that jazzy standards collection, but there’s so much excitement around Mayhem, and she’s flooding the media at the moment, that her entire discography benefits—and even Harlequin can find its way back to one tally.

Two other Gaga projects appear on at least one list apiece in the U.S. Born This Way is steady at No. 7 on the Top Dance Albums chart. Just a few spaces above comes The Fame, which launched Gaga to superstardom more than a decade ago. That breakout project keeps in the runner-up rung on the Top Dance Albums list as it pushes from No. 86 to No. 80 on the Billboard 200.
