A counter-proposal to Washington’s Ukraine War peace deal would see the country join the European Union by January first 2027, a report states.

Ukraine could bypass the normally years-long accession process — and possibly the scrutiny and democratic consent of its members — and join the European Union next year, if a counter-proposal in the peace negotiation process said to have been submitted to Washington D.C. is adopted.
