Huge crowds attended the funeral procession of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in central Tehran on Monday, which also featured a banner reading ‘Kill Trump’ and chants of ‘Death to America’.
It was the largest public event of the multi-day funeral, with mourners lining the nearly 20-km (12-mile) route through the Iranian capital. State media reported that millions turned out to pay tribute to Khamenei, who was killed in the first wave of US-Israeli airstrikes on Iran.
