FilmMagicKendrick Lamar produced one of the biggest hits of 2024 when he released “Not Like Us” as part of his ongoing feud with Drake. The track was an immediate No. 1 on charts all around the world, and in the months since he shared it, it has become so much more than a popular song.
That tune may be entering a new golden era, one which could last for several weeks, if not months. While “Not Like Us” never completely faded from popularity, the smash is back in the spotlight, and rising on charts everywhere.
“Not Like Us” appears on five different songs rankings in the United Kingdom this week. It reappears on four of them, and bolts back into the top 10 on the one list it held steady on last frame before another exciting period began.
Lamar was the big winner at the 2025 Grammy Awards, thanks entirely to “Not Like Us” and its popularity among voters. The track took home a quintet of trophies, claiming Best Music Video, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and historically, both Record and Song of the Year. All that attention convinced British fans to begin streaming and buying the tune in huge numbers yet again, making it a behemoth once more.
“Not Like Us” reappears on four lists inside the top 40, thanks to his sweep at the Grammys. It lands highest on the all-encompassing list of the most-consumed songs in the U.K., where it settles at No. 27. It also manages to mount a comeback on the Official Singles Downloads (No. 33), Official Singles Sales (also No. 33), and Official Streaming (No. 37) charts.
Last week, “Not Like Us” was still a top 20 hit on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart, the U.K.’s list of the biggest and most successful tracks in those specific styles. This time around, It jumps from No. 20 to No. 6, re-entering the top 10 in a flash of glory. When the U.K. charts refresh again later this week, “Not Like Us” could improve yet again.
Lamar made the track the standout moment from his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which occurred just days after he swept the Grammys. The single, which was released in May 2024, couldn’t have asked for better platforms to begin what could be a second chapter of chart dominance, and the cut is bound to continue to sell and stream well, at least for the coming days, if not weeks.
