Justin Timberlake’s latest chapter of his music career didn’t pan out as well as he’d hoped. His most recent album, Everything I Thought It Was, disappointed, and it didn’t produce any huge singles. While that collection and the songs featured on it did not make the impact that much of his past works have, the singer still manages to score a hit on several charts in one of the largest music markets in the world this week.
In 2022, Timberlake joined Calvin Harris on his single “Stay With Me,” which also credited Halsey as a vocalist as well. The three turned the disco-leaning pop tune into a true hit in some territories—such as the United Kingdom—and that’s where it’s succeeding again.
“Stay With Me” is back on both the Official Vinyl Singles and Official Physical Singles charts this week. The track returns to the two tallies, and it appears higher than ever as it begins a comeback.
Timberlake’s superstar collaboration re-enters the list of the bestselling singles only on vinyl at No. 22. Over on the ranking of the top-selling songs on any physical medium—with vinyl remaining paramount in this regard—the tune comes in at No. 28.
“Stay With Me” debuted on both charts in 2022, when it was still new. Timberlake hasn’t managed to send anything to either list since then—at least not on his own.
Timberlake has only scored three hits on the Official Vinyl Singles chart throughout his solo career. While he has produced many smashes during his decades as a pop star, not many have been issued on vinyl. “Stay With Me” ranks as the second-highest-rising of the three tracks he’s sent to the tally.
The Grammy and Emmy winner has performed much better on the Official Physical Singles list. He’s scored nearly two dozen hits on that chart, with several tunes reaching the top spot.
