At the top of the longevity list is Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, which needs just 10 more turns to reach 1,000 weeks – a record that seemed almost impossible just a few years ago. Sitting in second place is Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend, another compilation that remains one of the most popular albums in the U.S. week after week and year after year. That reggae giant has now charted for 880 weeks and could be the next title to crack 900.

In the latest tracking frame, Luminate reports that Greatest Hits moved about 13,300 equivalent units in the U.S. That’s just a small dip from the previous week, as the weekly sum has remained fairly steady for a while now. Roughly 1,800 of those units came from pure sales, which is impressive for a project that’s been available for decades.

“Don’t Stop Believin’” Continues to Rock

The biggest reason Journey’s Greatest Hits continues to perform so well is one track: “Don’t Stop Believin’.” That iconic anthem is more than just a fan favorite, it’s one of the most streamed and bestselling rock songs in U.S. history, and it’s still a hit today.
