The Gateway Pundit has shared the heartbreaking story of what has been done to J6er Isaac Thomas.
Isaac was orphaned at the age of 6 and endured years of abuse and neglect as a child— trafficked through various placements while in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services. Thomas emancipated himself at 16 and got involved in political activism.
Isaac, who was only 18 at the time of January 6, was inspired to speak out for other victims of the failed foster care system when he went to the Capitol along with thousands of other Americans to peacefully protest and make their muffled voices heard.
Isaac is currently preparing for trial in a case against Lakeside Academy, a foster care facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This facility was shut down after the death of 16-year-old Cornelius Fredericks, who died following being pinned to the floor and strangled until he went into cardiac arrest.
Before that tragedy, other children like Isaac were also abused and tried to speak up about what was happening to them. If the system had taken Isaac’s allegations more seriously, it’s very possible that Cornelius would still be alive.
Isaac’s fight for justice has been met with many twists and turns. Last week, less than a month before the trial was scheduled to start, his attorney abruptly withdrew from the case. The withdrawal came after it was revealed that he was a January 6th defendant and refused to accept a lowball settlement offer designed to sweep the case under the rug. With representation stripped away at the last minute, the trial had to be postponed and has now been rescheduled for March 10th.
This left Isaac with no choice but to represent himself pro se against a system determined to bury the truth about him and others endured. Despite the immense challenges, he has refused to give up. A pattern of abuse cannot be erased, and this case highlights how survivors are too often silenced instead of given justice.
Now, there is hope.
An attorney has stepped forward who believes in the case and is prepared to fight. But justice comes with a price. The attorney’s rate is $550 an hour, and on top of that, there are filing fees, court costs, and other significant expenses that quickly add up in litigation of this size. Without immediate financial support, the case cannot move forward. Isaac previously created a legal fund to help him litigate the costs of this case, but has recently run out of funding and desperately needs your support.

This fight is not only about one survivor. It is about exposing what really happened and holding those responsible accountable.
Financial contributions are urgently needed to cover attorney fees and legal costs so this case can finally proceed to trial.
There is also an open call to attorneys in Michigan who are willing to join the fight. Any attorney with the courage to stand up against corruption and abuse is encouraged to step forward and assist in carrying this case to trial.
If you believe in justice and in protecting children from abuse, now is the time to act. Every contribution goes directly toward covering the legal costs necessary to ensure the truth is brought to light in court.
