Get in the car! A beloved Trader Joe’s beauty item is back in stock, and it’s selling out already.
Trader Joe’s Brazil Nut Body Oil, which first went viral in 2023 after being included in the brand’s holiday gift set in a smaller bottle, leaves skin soft, supple, and smelling like a day at the beach. Made with squalane and guarana extract, the four-ounce bottle retails for $6.99, and fans say it’s similar to Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Body Firmeza Oil that retails for $52.
“The combination of these moisturizing ingredients, along with the alluring scent made famous by our Brazil Nut Body Butter, creates a post-shower or bath skin treatment that will drive away dull, dry skin, and help lock in moisture all day long,” the Trader Joe’s website states. “Soft, supple, sweet smelling skin is just a couple drops of Brazil Nut Body Oil away!”
Some Reddit users reported seeing it at their stores in early February.
“The solo Brazil Nut Body Oil has arrived at some warehouses and should be arriving at some stores as early as tonight, and more stores should hopefully get it tomorrow or later this week,” one Reddit user wrote.
The news quickly spread on social media with Trader Joe’s social accounts sharing the details to the delight of many.
“I bought this today to try and didn’t realize it is seasonal… I will be going back tomorrow because this stuff smells so freaking good and my skin looks amazing!!!” one fan wrote.
Another added, “I put some on at 7am and here it is 5pm and I still smell so good!”
Others wrote that the oil is multi-purpose, and they use it on their hair and cuticles.
It’s clear this Trader Joe’s product is a winner—and only available for a limited time.
