United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported three tankers in the Strait of Hormuz were struck by projectiles on Tuesday – an apparent outburst of violence from Iran after days of funeral services for slain Ayatollah Ali Khamenei that included numerous calls for President Donald Trump to be assassinated.
According to UKMTO, the first ship was attacked off the coast of Oman and caught fire after it was hit by an unidentified projectile.
