Illegal Alien Shot in LA After Ramming ICE Vehicles in Brazen Escape Bid is a Well-Known TikTok Influencer, City Councilman Praised Him as ‘Pillar of Our Community’ (VIDEOS)

Mexican national Carlitos Ricardo Parias, an illegal immigrant posing as a “citizen journalist” on TikTok under the handle “Richard LA,” was shot during a routine immigration raid in Los Angeles this week.

Parias, 44, has over 135,000 followers on TikTok and is being praised and offered “solidarity” by at least one member of the Los Angeles City Council.

The illegal alien, who has built a following by filming and mocking ICE operations, ignored commands to surrender, rammed his Toyota Camry into federal vehicles, and created a smokescreen of debris in a desperate bid to flee.

Amid the chaos, Parias took a bullet to the elbow, and a heroic US marshal was wounded by ricochet.

The incident unfolded on Tuesday when ICE agents and US marshals, executing an administrative immigration warrant, boxed in Parias’ vehicle after spotting him leaving his south Los Angeles apartment.

Despite clear orders to exit and submit, the defiant illegal alien drove forward and backward, smashing into two law enforcement vehicles. Agents, fearing for their lives, shattered his window to subdue him.

Shots were fired in self-defense, leaving Parias with a non-life-threatening elbow wound and the marshal with a hand injury. Both were hospitalized and are expected to recover.

Parias now faces serious federal charges for assault on a federal officer.

Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin didn’t mince words, blasting the episode as a direct consequence of “conduct and rhetoric by sanctuary politicians and activists who urge illegal aliens to resist arrest.”

McLaughlin pointed out that there has been a 1000 percent surge in threats against law enforcement officers, fueled by anti-ICE agitators in blue cities like LA.

In fact, these liberal politicians are openly standing with the illegal alien instead of the officers.

The BBC reports, “LA City Councilmen Curren Price, whose office honoured Mr Parias for his community service, said he was deeply saddened by the incident and stood in solidarity with Mr Parias and his family.”

UPDATE: The man shot and detained during Tuesday’s immigration operation in Los Angeles has been identified as “Richard LA,” a non-U.S. citizen.

“Richard is a pillar of our community, a fearless citizen journalist whose authentic storytelling has consistently uplifted the unheard voices of south central Los Angeles,” Price wrote on social media.

Parias has a history of evading capture while glorifying his illegal status on social media, documenting raids to “empower” other undocumented migrants in South Central LA.
