CBSHollywood Squares, the recently introduced game show revival on CBS, is heading to daytime. The primetime reboot will air in repeats the week of January 27 in the 2 p.m. ET hour. The prior time period occupant, The Talk, ended its 14 season run on December 20, 2024.
New CBS daytime scripted drama Beyond the Gates will debut in the time period on February 24.
In primetime, and effective Wednesday, January 29, Hollywood Squares will move into the Wednesday 8 p.m. ET anchor position, followed by The Price Is Right at 9 p.m. ET, and Raid the Cage at 10 p.m. ET.
Hosted by Nate Burleson (CBS This Mornings, The NFL Today), with Drew Barrymore as the center square, the format of Hollywood Squares mirrors the earlier versions of the game show. The featured competitors are asked questions by the host and the contestants judge the truth of their answers to gain squares in the right pattern to win the game.
