The Trump DOJ made history on Wednesday by announcing terrorism charges against Antifa militants for the first time.
As Fox News reported, a federal grand jury indicted two alleged Antifa leftists with terrorism-related charges for an Independence Day attack on an ICE facility in Texas.
The Gateway Pundit previously revealed that ten individuals were involved in a coordinated attack on ICE officers in Alvarado, Texas. The individuals are alleged to be part of an Antifa cell from North Texas.
According to the criminal complaint, the defendants, dressed in black military-style clothing, began shooting fireworks at the facility as part of an organized attack.
Cameron Arnold aka “Autumn Hill”, Savannah Batten, Nathan Baumann, Zachary Evetts, Joy Gibson, Bradford Morris, Maricela Rueda, Seth Sikes, Elizabeth Soto, and Ines Soto were identified by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Texas, as the thugs responsible for this awful crime.
All were charged with attempted murder.
Now, Arnold and Evetts are being accused of terrorism. They have been hit with the following charges: providing material support for terrorism, attempting to murder federal and assisting officers and discharging firearms during attempted murders.
FBI Director Kash Patel hailed the news on X:
“First time ever: the FBI arrested Antifa-aligned anarchist violent extremists and terrorism charges have been brought for the July 4 Prairieland ICE attack in Texas,” Patel wrote.
“Under President Trump’s new authorities we’ve made 20+ arrests,” he added. “No one gets to harm law enforcement. Not on my watch.”

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi responded to the historic news by making clear her office is just getting started.
“As @POTUS has made clear, Antifa is a left-wing terrorist organization,” she wrote. “They will be prosecuted as such.”

These charges would not have been possible without Trump’s bold move last month to declare Antifa a terrorist organization.
Here is what he said:
“I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” The president wrote on Truth Social.
