Blood drives scheduled
COSHOCTON − Several American Red Cross blood drives are scheduled. Drives will be 1 to 7 p.m. Feb. 17, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 28, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maysville High School, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25 at Secrest Auditorium and 1 to 6 p.m. Feb. 26, at the Wayne Township Building in Duncan Falls.
A drive in Morgan County will be from noon to 6 p.m. Feb. 18, at the Malta Methodist Church Youth Building. Drives in Perry County are 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 18, at Crooksville High School and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 19, at New Lexington High School. Perry County chamber having luncheon
SHAWNEE − The Perry County Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly luncheon at noon Feb. 18, at Black Diamond Tavern, 106 W. Main St.. Chris Shirer, vice president of the Somerset Artists Co-Op, will share news on the organization and it’s growth in the past year. Cost for lunch is $20. Genesis offering stop the bleeding class
ZANESVILLE − A free community training on controlling life threatening bleeding will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27, in Meeting Room C and D of Genesis Hospital, 2951 Maple Ave. Register at genesishcs.org.
Endocrinologist joins Genesis
ZANESVILLE − Dr. M. Shahan Sulehri has recently joined Genesis Endocrinology to diagnose, treat and manage different conditions affecting hormones and endocrine system. He has a doctorate of medicine from Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba. Sulehri completed an internship with the same institution and did a residency with JFK University Medical Center/Raritan Bay Medical Center Program in New Jersey. He completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York.

● Zanesville City Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session at 4 p.m. Feb. 18 at National Road Elementary, 3505 East Pike. This is a time change from previously announced.
● Licking Township Trustees meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month at the township hall, 7675 Black Run Road. The annual financial report is also available for public review from fiscal officer Erika Kilpatrick.
● Mid-East Career and Technology Center Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. March 10, at the Buffalo Campus, 57090 Vocational Road, Senecaville.
