RINO Senators Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and Mitch McConnell voted against advancing President Trump’s DOGE rescissions package.

The three RINOs voted against moving the package out of committee and every Democrat is expected to vote “no.”

Vice President JD Vance came in with the tie-breaking vote.

Republican senators will need Vice President JD Vance to advance President Donald Trump’s effort to claw back billions in funding.

GOP Sens. Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski have all voted against moving the rescissions package out of committee. The procedural vote is still open but with all Democrats expected to also vote “no” it will dead lock in a tie, necessitating Vance’s engagement.

GOP senators had been told to expect Vance, though one lawmaker granted anonymity to share private converations said they were warned that it could be a while before he arrives.

The House of Representatives last month passed the measure which seeks to codify $9.4 billion in spending cuts. The Senate has until July 18 to pass the DOGE cuts and said it to President Trump’s desk for a signature.

Only 51 votes are needed in the Senate but the RINOs are once again stalling the passage of the measure.

The Senate will be voting on the next hurdle shortly.

UPDATE: The Senate formally voted to open debate on the rescissions bill. Collins, Murkowski, and McConnell AGAIN voted no. Vance came in with the tie-breaking vote.
