Sometimes you can go home again.
Supermodel Heidi Klum, who progressed into a mainstay judge of American’s Got Talent on NBC, is returning to her roots in the reality/competition space. After an eight year absence, Klum will host the 21st season of veteran Project Runway, which moves to Freeform after most recently airing on Bravo.
Klum, 51, originally hosted Project Runway from 2004 to 2017, and was awarded with an Emmy in 2013 for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program, which she shared with her co-host Tim Gunn. Klum and Gunn departed to launch a new fashion series at Amazon Prime Video called Making The Cut. Karlie Kloss and Project Runway winner Christian Siriano took over hosting duties in season 17, and Siriano has hosted the fashion design-themed competition series solo since 2021. There is no news at press time if Tim Gunn will also be back.
Season 21 of Project Runway will debut later this year (on an undisclosed date), and will run for 10 episodes (which will stream on Disney+ and Hulu after their Freeform linear airings).
