FOX’s Resident Democrat Jessica Tarlov Was “Gobsmacked” by Drone Footage of Biden’s Open Border — Then Admits the Biden’s White House Only Tightened Up When the Election Got Close

Fox News Democrat resident Jessica Tarlov just admitted what conservatives, Border Patrol, and every mayor drowning in buses of illegal aliens already knew: the Biden regime told the country the border was “effectively closed” while tens of thousands of people a month streamed across it in broad daylight.

And she says she was gobsmacked.

Tarlov made the comments this week on The Breakfast Club while promoting her new book.

Here is what Tarlov said, in her own words:

“While the Biden administration was saying nothing’s wrong on the border, the border is effectively closed, Fox had a drone flying over the border that was showing tens of thousands of people and at peak a couple hundred thousand people streaming across the border in a month. And I was gobsmacked — not only by the reality of what was going on and how unfair it was that I was sitting here in an air-conditioned studio in New York City telling people in Eagle Pass to suck it up, but that the administration had no answer for it.”

Then came the confession Democrats never wanted on tape:

“And they got it together in the last year, I think, because elections frankly were coming and they thought we need to do something about this.”

The official story that the Biden regime has pushed on Americans has always been a lie. The “secure border” talking point was a campaign product. And the only reason the numbers finally moved, according to one of the most visible Democrats on cable news, is that an election was coming.

Amazing what can be admitted years later, right as Democrats try to sell voters the idea that they are the party of a closed border.
