Four Indian Films on Netflix Global Top 10

Four Indian films, including two Tamil movies, have made it to the latest list of most-watched non-English films on Netflix worldwide. Shahid Kapoor’s Deva maintained the second rank for the second consecutive week on the list while new Tamil film Test also made it to the third spot. The Tamil film Dragon and Malayalam cop saga Officer On Duty made it to the list for the third week in a row.

Deva, Test, Dragon and Officer On Duty chart on Netflix Top 10

Two Tamil films, one Hindi film, and one Malayalam film have made it to the list of most-watched non-English films on Netflix worldwide for the week ending April 6.

Netflix Global Top 10: Deva

Shahid Kapoor-starrer Deva debuted at the second rank last week on Netflix’s weekly list of most-watched non-English films worldwide. The film managed to maintain the second spot in its second week on the platform as well. It registered 4.5 million views and 1.1 watch-hours on the platform in its second week. The film also made it as the most-viewed film in nine countries including India, Pakistan, Mauritius, Bahrain, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman and UAE. It ranked among top 10 most-viewed films in 20 countries on Netflix.

Deva had a digital premiere on March 28 – two months after releasing in theatres on January 31. Rosshan Andrrews has directed Deva which stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. Kapoor, Pravesh Rana and Pavail Gulati play cops in the film which also features Kubbra Sait, Pooja Hegde, Girish Kulkarni, Manish Wadhwa and Upendra Limaye in important roles. The film had an average run at the box office and ranks among top 20 highest-grossing Indian films of 2025.

Netflix Global Top 10: Test

R Madhavan-starrer Test debuted as the third most-watched non-English film on Netflix on April 4. In three days, the Tamil film made it to the top ten most-watched films on Netflix in 13 countries. It recorded 2.7 million views and 6.5 million watch-hours on the platform for the week ending April 6.

Directed by producer S Sashikanthm, Test is a Tamil sports drama. Sashikanth co-wrote the film with Suman Kumar. R Madhavan, Siddharth and Nayanthara play lead roles in the film which also features Meera Jasmine, Nassar and Kaali Venkat.

Netflix Global Top 10: Dragon

The Tamil film Dragon was ranked ninth most-viewed non-English film on Netflix for the week ending April 6. The film recorded 1.1 million views and 2.7 million watch-hours in its third week on the platform. It also made it among the top ten films in five countries including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives and Mauritius.

Last week, Dragon made it to the fifth rank the Netflix’s most-watched list and it debuted on seventh rank the week before. Dragon has been directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. It features Pradeep, Anupama Parameswaran, and KS Ravikumar. Director Marimuthu has co-written the film with Pradeep Ranganathan. In its theatrical run, Dragon saw a decent box office performance when it released in February this year and ranks among top 10 highest-grossing Indian films of 2025.

Netflix Global Top 10: Officer On Duty

The Malayalam film Officer On Duty made it to Netflix’s weekly list of most-watched non-English films for the third week in a row. It recorded one million views and 2.3 million watch hours making it to the tenth slot on most-viewed non-English films for the week ending April 6. It debuted on Netflix on March 20 and was the fifth most-viewed film worldwide within days. Last week, it was ranked sixth among most-viewed non-English films on Netflix worldwide.

Directed by Jithu Ashraf, Officer On Duty is a cop saga featuring Kunchacko Boban in the lead role along side Priyamani, Vishak Nair and Jagadish.
