In a shocking revelation, former FBI senior scientist Dr. Jason Bannan has claimed that the Biden administration deliberately sidelined critical evidence linking the origins of COVID-19 to a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Despite years of denial and censorship from government agencies, Big Tech, and mainstream media, the lab-leak theory—once dismissed as a conspiracy—has gained substantial traction, now supported by findings from the FBI and other experts.
Since the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, government officials and medical institutions have fervently dismissed the lab-leak hypothesis, labeling it a “conspiracy theory.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and Dr. Anthony Fauci have repeatedly downplayed the possibility of a lab leak, insisting instead that the virus was transmitted from animals to humans.
Meanwhile, Big Tech and mainstream media giants have censored discussions on the topic, banning and discrediting voices that dared to question the official narrative.
Earlier this month, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic concluded its two-year investigation into the COVID-19 crisis, unveiling its final report titled “After Action Review of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Lessons Learned and a Path Forward.”
According to the report:
COVID-19 ORIGIN: COVID-19 most likely emerged from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. The FIVE strongest arguments in favor of the “lab leak” theory include:
- The virus possesses a biological characteristic that is not found in nature.
- Data shows that all COVID-19 cases stem from a single introduction into humans. This runs contrary to previous pandemics where there were multiple spillover events.
- Wuhan is home to China’s foremost SARS research lab, which has a history of conducting gain-of-function research at inadequate biosafety levels.
- Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) researchers were sick with a COVID-like virus in the fall of 2019, months before COVID-19 was discovered at the wet market.
- By nearly all measures of science, if there was evidence of a natural origin it would have already surfaced.
In early April 2020, The Gateway Pundit was among the first to report that the Wuhan lab, Asia’s only Level 4 virology lab, was likely the epicenter of the pandemic.
At the time, these reports were met with fierce criticism, dismissed as “baseless” by so-called experts.
The Gateway Pundit was the first news organization to reveal photos from inside the Wuhan laboratory of Chinese Doctor Shi Zhengli, running coronavirus testing with mice.
This was after her research was banned in the US because it was too risky.
Yet, years later, even the head of the WHO, corrupt Chris Wray, the far-left New York Times have conceded that a lab origin cannot be ruled out.
Earlier this year, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released shocking statements and documents that reveal that the U.S. State Department knew COVID leaked from a Wuhan Biolab and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) covered it up.
The documents reveal that the State Department knew this since July 2020.
The highly redacted documents show enough proof to see the US Government has been lying to the American public since at least July 2020. They knew all along it was a leak from a bio lab.
“These classified documents were previously released in an unclassified and highly redacted FOIA production to US Right To Know. Today, Chairman RepBradWenstrup requested StateDept rapidly declassify the documents and share the truth about the origins of COVID-19 with the American people,” the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic wrote on X.
Now, new revelations from Jason Bannan, a former senior microbiologist at the FBI, shed light on a coordinated effort by the Biden regime to bury lab-leak evidence.
According to Bannan, the FBI’s analysis, which concluded with “moderate confidence” that the virus originated in a laboratory, was excluded from a high-level intelligence briefing with President Biden in 2021.
The Times reported:
The FBI was excluded from a secret intelligence briefing with President Biden to discuss the origins of the Covid-19 virus after concluding that the pandemic was caused by a lab leak, it is claimed.
In May 2021 the White House ordered multiple intelligence agencies and national laboratories to investigate whether the virus had escaped from a Chinese laboratory or was transmitted from an animal to a human — as argued by most scientists at the time.
A few months later, the classified findings of the investigation were organised by the National Intelligence Council and presented to Biden. The dominant view, shared by four agencies, was that the pandemic had occurred naturally. Only the FBI concluded with “moderate confidence” that a lab leak was likely to have caused it.
No FBI official was invited to the White House meeting in August 2021 to argue their case as Biden met the director of national intelligence, Avril Haines, and two of her senior analysts to review the evidence.
“Being the only agency that assessed that a laboratory origin was more likely, and the agency that expressed the highest level of confidence in its analysis of the source of the pandemic, we anticipated the FBI would be asked to attend the briefing,” Jason Bannan, a former FBI scientist, told the Wall Street Journal on Thursday.
“I find it surprising that the White House didn’t ask.”
