Globally we have entered into an age of unprecedented social engineering and psychological warfare. In this blog we will explore some of the modern history and methodology behind how we got to this point in the human story and what we can do to mentally defend ourselves and intelligently fight back.

Understanding Learned Helplessness

In 1967 a team of psychologists from the University of Pennsylvania conducted research on dogs to gauge their responses to unpredictable and unavoidable electric shocks.

They created three groups:

  • Group A could stop shocks by pressing a panel.
  • Group B Received shocks but had no control or escape.
  • Group C received no shocks at all.

After this, they placed the dogs in a box where they would be shocked but could easily jump over a small barrier to safety. The dogs from group A and C quickly jumped over the barrier and escaped, but the dogs from group B laid down and endured the shocks — no resistance, no struggle, no hope, just surrender.

Simply put, the dogs were resigned to the feeling of helplessness — hence the expression learned helplessness.

Subsequent studies on humans, where shocks were substituted with loud disorienting sounds, were later conducted and showed similar results concerning the concept of learned helplessness.

Weaponizing Learned Helplessness

Back in 2001, within months of 9/11 taking place, CIA psychologists met with Martin Seligman — the man behind the original Learned Helplessness experiments — to discuss “how to win a lasting victory against global terrorism”. [1]

A few months later, according to Seligman’s own recounting, he meticulously detailed what he knew about Learned Helplessness for them.

Although Seligman would later claim the CIA led him to believe their interest was for defensive purposes alone, which critics have doubted — and for good reason considering how the American Psychological Association played a key role in carrying out and covering up the CIA’s torture program — these meetings would ultimately result in the attendees weaponizing learned helplessness and making it central to the infamous Enhanced interrogation techniques program during the so called War on Terror.

Apart from obvious correspondences with previous experiments into Learned Helplessness by Seligman — such as the use of electric shocks on prisoners or playing disorienting sounds in the form of culturally inappropriate music — inmates were randomly subjected to various forms of unpredictable and uncontrollable stress physically and psychologically which they could not predict or escape.

It should be noted by the reader that psychological torture is considered more effective than physical torture for behavioral modification and mental breakdown, [2] which has also been corroborated by the testimony of numerous Guantanamo Bay inmates. [3]

KUBARK Counterintelligence Interrogation Manual, p.90, 91, Threats and Fear (1963)

Although people have been misled to believe that the torture program was effective or ethically justified because it was targeting ruthless radical Jihadists, more than 98% [4] of Guantanamo Bay prisoners — which reportedly included “children as young as 12 and 13 and elderly as old as 92 or 93” — were never found guilty of any crime and eventually released.

Likewise at the infamous Abu Ghraib site where horrific torture was exposed back in 2004 resulting in the arrests of almost a dozen U.S. military personnel, numerous children were detained, including an 11-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl that six eyewitnesses say was sexually humiliated by drunk soldiers. According to General Karpinski, who was in charge of the site from July to November in 2003, one inmate “looked like he was eight years old“.

Much like Guantanamo Bay, the overwhelming majority were never found guilty of any crime, but the volume of those wrongfully imprisoned was much higher with several thousand inmates eventually being released.

To further illustrate the remarkable injustice here, a 2006 study on Guantanamo Bay found that 93% of prisoners were not even captured by U.S. forces (p.14) with 86% of them being kidnapped based on secondhand suspicions through Pakistani and Afghani forces who received huge bounty payments in return. [5] Amongst those captured for a bounty included 14-year-old Mohammed el Gharani who after seven years of torture was released due to lack of evidence.

According to the former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell, Colonel Lawrence B. Wilkerson — one of many whistleblowers from Guantanamo Bay — George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld knew “the vast majority of Guantanamo Bay detainees were innocent” but kept them imprisoned regardless. [6] It has also been well established that torture is simply not reliable for procuring useful intelligence or solving crime and this was known centuries before 9/11 even took place.

The more logical explanation, as I detailed in a previous post, is that this program was a continuation of much older behavioral modification research into social engineering and mind control for the primary purpose of controlling the common people under the guise of protecting them.

The Grand Chessboard

Long before the Learned Helplessness studies were conducted by Martin Seligman, the CIA and other related agencies were deeply entrenched in what I’ve thoroughly detailed to be the most extensive effort in known history — at least up until that point in time — to master mind control, behavioral modification, biowarfare and ultimately different forms of social control.

Just as “fighting terrorism” encouraged leading psychologists to help the CIA develop unethical behavioral modification strategies during the so-called War on Terror, so too “fighting communism” had encouraged leading specialists to help the CIA develop esoteric methods of behavioral modification and various forms of social engineering and mass mind control through a series of clandestine projects such as the now infamous MKULTRA.

Amongst the reportedly successful experiments employed, include programming a woman who was fearful of guns to carry out a hypothetical assassination, “girls” being programmed to carry out a hypothetical bombing and creating multiple personalities in an individual “to a point where they can believe a change in identity on their part even on the polygraph”. [7]

In both the “Cold War” and “War on Terror”, the overwhelming majority of people that ended up being experimented on were guilty of no crime, and in both cases innocent people got killed or had their lives completely destroyed. [8]

To make this all the more disturbing both the threat of communism and later “Islamic terrorism” — again used by the Intelligence community to justify their unethical torture programs and so much more — turned out to be threats that key decision makers intimately inflated through foundational funding and other forms of facilitation to begin with.

Nelson Rockefeller played a key role in building up Communist Russia and facilitating MKULTRA related research

As I’ve detailed before — predominantly sourcing the meticulous research of Professor Antony Sutton — communist Russia was built up by powerful American oligarchs working either directly within the U.S. government or closely in partnership with it, most notably the Rockefeller family’s network who, correspondingly, were also intimately involved in funding, facilitating and — later through the Rockefeller Commission — covering up MKULTRA related research. [9][10]

Simply put, the Rockefellers and close allies like Henry Kissinger [11] played a major role in building up the external threat of communist Russia, which was then used to justify inflating the military budget, increasing local surveillance and conducting unethical experiments on local civilians.

The infamous article from the Independent praising Osama Bin Laden | 6 Dec 1993

In the case of radical Islam, during the Soviet-Afghan War — when the CIA were indirectly allied with “Anti-Soviet warrior“ Osama Bin Laden pictured above — they provided the “rebels” weapons, money, training and support through Operation Cyclone, which would ultimately facilitate the rise of multiple Islamic fundamentalist groups including so called Al Qaeda. [12]

The man credited with masterminding this plan was Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski — cofounder of the Trilateral Commission alongside Nelson Rockefeller’s younger brother David Rockefeller, who likewise played a major role in building up the Soviet Union. [13]

In a 1998 interview with Le Nouvel Observateur, Brzezinski would make the shocking admission [14] that Operation Cyclone was not implemented in response to the Russian government’s intervention in the region — as had previously been claimed for more than a decade — but was insidiously pursued for the purpose of baiting Russia into a costly conflict against CIA backed rebels.

When flatly asked about if he had any “regret having supported Islamic fundamentalism, which has given arms and advice to future terrorists?”, Brzezinski infamously said fighting communism was more important.

Le Nouvel Observateur, January 15-21, 1998, p.76

Perhaps a fitting follow up question that should have been put to the former National Security Advisor was in relation to his book The Grand Chessboard, published just one year prior, in which Brzezinski deliberates on different methodologies to maintain and expand world hegemony through American Empire.

In there, Brzezinski explains that with the conclusion of the Cold War — allegedly the result of the aforementioned Operation Cyclone — the American public lost its appetite to police the planet and would likely not change “except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat.” (p.211) Simply put, and noted elsewhere in the publication, (p.36) Brzezinski is illustrating the imperative of giving the public a perceived external enemy in order to mobilize them for an ulterior motive.

Much like the Communist boogeyman was used to justify the invasion and overthrow of numerous governments accused of communist connections abroad, “Al Qaeda” was blamed for 9/11 and used to usher in the new “War on Terror” resulting in an unprecedented spike in the U.S. military’s budget to pursue “preemptive” attacks globally, technocratic surveillance locally, unethical experiments on people guilty of no actual crime and ultimately dominate the proverbial Grand Chessboard.

A New Age of Social Engineering

As I already detailed in part 6 of a previous blog, the “pandemic” personified the next stage in Elitist social engineering and mind control, where the behavioral modification tactics explored during MKULTRA related research, and later in the Bush era torture program, were insidiously forced on billions and billions of people worldwide.

Fear was weaponized to such an extent that people were too afraid to touch their own family members while others died in solitude at home not wanting to go outside. Social isolation and sensory deprivation — two of the most stringently studied forms of mind control to induce mental breakdown [15] — were enforced en masse under the guise of “social distancing” and facemasks to keep everyone safe; unpredictable changes preventing any stable routine from forming were commonplace[16]; and controlling people’s perception of reality was taken to dystopian heights through record levels of social media consumption and internet censorship. All of these policies possess psychological warfare potency as illustrated in a concise video I made on the topic.

Predictably, these mandates resulted in record levels of mind-altering drug abuse and mass sleep deprivation, both of which have likewise been meticulously studied, and weaponized, for the purpose of behavioral modification and mind control. [17] [18]

We now know that numerous governments employed professional teams of behavioral modification specialists to manipulate entire societies. [19] But more than simply condition unsuspecting civilians with social engineering strategies sourced from the past, the “pandemic” invariably served as an unrivaled experiment to collect new insights and personal data on the global population to pursue more efficient techniques to control us in the future.[20]

The Future is Now

As many now know, the internet was created by the U.S. government’s Intelligence Community, specifically DARPA, which it should be said continued to pursue behavioral modification research long after MKULTRA was exposed. In fact, they’re engaged in this pursuit to this very day through biotechnology and transhumanism.

Likewise, the founding of Google and Facebook — who today own the four most popular websites in the world [21] — trace their origins back to the Intelligence Community. And while the internet can be used for good or bad depending on who controls it, in the hands of the Establishment it will obviously be weaponized to preserve and promote their power and control.

With that said, it would be wise for us not to forget that during the “pandemic” any formidable footage, audio, or font questioning the narrative was flagged with such eerie efficiency that dangerous lockdown protocols deeply rooted in palpable pseudoscience went overwhelmingly unchallenged, resulting in an unprecedented spike in mass unemployment, poverty, hunger, depression, anxiety, drug overdoses and various forms of human suffering at large. [22]

Yet, in the current information climate, events like the Charlie Kirk assassination, the murder of Ukrainian immigrant Iryna Zarutska, the brutal genocide in Palestine and the most disturbing theories surrounding the Epstein Files, and more, are virtually being force-fed to the world’s population online. The question, of course, is why?

While I’m obviously a proponent of exposing injustice in a mindful way and do not purport to know with certainty why we are being flooded with all of this information, if interpreted through the lens of the unending Elitist obsession with mass behavioral modification and total population control, then it’s fairly logical to consider that they are likely trying to traumatize us and induce some form of collective behavioral modification or learned helplessness.

With the instigation of the Iran War, like the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, the cost of living globally has gone up further, in turn exacerbating our collective anxiety, depression, and fear, thus making the majority of the world even more vulnerable to unwanted collective behavioral modification and social control.

Furthermore, just as the threat of Communist Russia was used as an excuse to pursue social engineering and mind control which was invariably weaponized against the civilian population in the first Cold War, so too today AI is being aggressively pursued and invariably weaponized against the common people under the guise of countering communist China.

7 Nov 2025, Gizmodo

Unsurprisingly, much like the past where the same network of influence built up both the United States and Soviet Russia’s technological capabilities, namely members of the Council on Foreign Relations, [23] thus instigating the Cold War and the justification to pursue covert operations like MKULTRA, so too the foundation of China’s surveillance state and AI capabilities have been built up primarily by American companies — most of which are directly connected again to the Council on Foreign Relations or Trilateral Commission. [24] This includes IBM, Dell, Intel, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, culminating in what many are now calling the New Cold War. Oracle, a CIA creation and overtly pro-Zionist tech giant, has likewise helped build up China’s technocracy.

Once again, beyond the theatrical headlines, opinionated influencers and polarizing politics, it’s the common people — not the rulers — that are invariably being targeted.

Understanding How They Weaponize Our Minds Against Us

The first thing we need to understand is that the mind has a very difficult time distinguishing between thought and reality. Sure, we may consciously know something is not real but unconsciously, and therefore biologically, the mind struggles to decisively determine what the difference is and thus triggers the same biological responses as if we were physically experiencing what’s actually taking place in the mind. Simply put, if you frequently experience toxic thoughts, you are physically poisoning yourself.

The second key insight is to be found in something called mirror neurons, which are brain cells that mirror the behavior or circumstances of others so that we internally experience their emotions and circumstances. In other words — as perceived by our mirror neurons — what we are seeing digitally on the internet is being experienced by us physically in reality.

This is why watching a debate between two emotionally charged individuals can entrench us in their emotional experience. It’s why witnessing a father weep over his child’s dead body can depress us. It’s why hearing about child sex abuse rituals invokes grief, anger, and anxiety. And it’s why unregulated consumption of emotionally triggering content can literally lead to burn out and learned helplessness.

Third, our sensory system, receives hundreds of millions of bits of information every second, which includes anything we can consciously perceive in this very moment, such as noticeable sounds, sights, smells and so on, and then things that are unconsciously perceived, such as unnoticeable sounds, sights, smells and so on. To avoid sensory overload and being overwhelmed, we can only consciously process around 10 bits of this information per second thus ignoring well over 99.99% of the remaining information. [25]

This is accomplished through an array of systems which unconsciously filter this massive amount of information for us and then decide what should be prioritized and what should be ignored. This is why the brain chooses to not only block out the nose — which is constantly within our eyes’ vision — but even replace it with what it thinks should be there instead.

Among our sensory filters is something called the Reticular Activating System (RAS), which filters incoming data based on unusualness, emotional memory and preexisting beliefs. The RAS alerts the conscious mind, or prefrontal cortex (PFC), to fixate on these triggers whilst filtering out everything else resulting in inescapable tunnel vision. Simply put, the RAS can take us down a delusional rabbit hole that we innocently mistake for reality.

Working in conjunction with other sensory filters, this is essentially why the release of millions and millions of documents regarding the Epstein Files has inspired so many Conservative voters to fixate only on the Liberal Establishment as the embodiment of evil, and likewise many Liberal voters to only fixate on the Conservative Establishment as evil, without either side objectively evaluating the wider evidence that clearly implicates both Establishments as being engaged in that which is morally indefensible. They literally have tunnel vision rooted in tribalism that ignores well over 99.99% of information to avoid sensory overload.

Focus on the red dot in the center and observe the power and vulnerability of your perception

Lastly is classical conditioning, a type of associative learning which was clinically discovered by Ivan Pavlov. He discovered it while observing that dogs consistently salivated at the sight of his assistant—the person responsible for feeding them—because they had learned to associate the assistant’s presence with receiving food.

Observing this, Pavlov decided to see if he could condition the dogs to unconsciously associate some form of stimulation — like the ringing of a bell or the flickering of a light — with the act of being fed. Consequently, through repetition he consistently rang the bell or flickered the light just before feeding the dogs and, predictably, they would eventually salivate because of the stimulation alone. Pavlov would find that the louder the bell ring or brighter the light — essentially the more powerful the stimulation which is what hijacks the RAS filter and in turn the mind — the faster they could be conditioned.

Later, John Watson conducted the “Little Albert Experiment“, whereby an infant was brainwashed to fear a rat that he had formerly felt comfortable with. Watson accomplished this by repeatedly making loud banging sounds in the background each time Albert came into contact with the rat, resulting in the infant unconsciously associating the rat with the distressing sound. Like Pavlov, Watson found that the more intense the stimulation (the louder the banging sound) the quicker the association took place.

As I’ve explained before, this method is a favorite of the Parasite Class. Associate targeted demographics with something that elicits an impulsive and unthinking emotional reaction. For example, associate Conservatives with racism; Liberals with pedophilia; Arabs with terrorism; immigrants with horrific crime and so on and do so through repetition and intense emotional stimulation.

This results in unconscious fear, anger and tribalism programming the RAS to prioritize these perceived dangers and ignore others to avoid sensory overload, thus creating a long-term irrational narrow minded world view that, even when confronted with incontrovertible evidence that disproves the delusion, the RAS will simply engage in willful ignorance to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Although our collective understanding of the mind is constantly evolving, undergoing revision, and therefore incomplete, an introductory awareness of how it functions and can subsequently be weaponized against us is the first line of defense, since virtually all forms of psychological warfare are rooted in exploiting our ignorance.

Becoming Mindful

The act of being mindful is to engage in critical thinking about external and internal triggers. What I mean by that, is we must learn to consciously question what our senses perceive from the outside world, both online and offline, and then consciously question how this makes us feel inside and why it makes us feel that way. And then we must ask ourselves if our internal response is rational or irrational.

Concerning the internal, for example, if we see starving children in Palestine or hear about a little girl’s school getting blown up in Iran or become aware of the horrors of Epstein’s victims and we feel grief, rage, shame, and so on, this is a rational emotional response to what is indefensible injustice. Whether people try to amplify or downplay this event because of their own bias or conditioning, objectively it remains repulsive to our inborn Humanity. Nonetheless, if we are struggling with depression or anxiety then consuming this content will only make us much worse and therefore less productive in all areas of our lives.

The mindful decision then is to obviously restrict or regulate our access to this content for mental and physical wellbeing. This is not to advocate ignorance or indifference, but we can become aware of injustice in this world and creatively respond to it, which is productive, without becoming emotionally hijacked by it and unthinkingly react, which is counterproductive.

Another example concerning the internal is to be found when we feel the impulse towards anger within when someone is simply challenging our worldview. Provided the person is not condescending or patronizing, which is to say they are not giving us a sensible reason that should elicit anger, it’s fairly logical that any intense emotional reaction is the result of some form of imperceptible programming.

If we subscribe to a particular religion or have been taken in by politics, for example, and someone challenges our worldview with a sensible argument, but we become angry inside and feel the desire to lash out at them, the problem is not the person questioning our worldview, the problem is our unthinking emotional reaction. Being as such, we need to scrutinize this autopilot behavior because it represents an intangible weed seeking to suppress the natural growth of the garden of the mind.

Concerning the external, when someone communicates information to us, we need to mindfully question their methodology. Are they appealing to logic and reason or are they eliciting anger, fear, insecurity and other intense emotions that overwhelm us more than they stabilize us?

During the COVID “pandemic”, for example, the fear mongering and hysteria were absolutely unprecedented despite the fact that fear itself is incredibly dangerous and even deadly. By simply being mindful about the significance of communication I knew from the beginning that we were being manipulated which empowered my RAS to filter out popular opinion and instead focus on logically assessing the situation.

Please understand though, even if someone is genuine in their convictions and not deliberately engaged in deception, if their communication is largely toxic it can still be poisonous to us.

Being mindful takes practice so be patient. The best strategy to start with, in my experience, is to carefully curate who and what has access to our minds online and offline. This means setting time aside with the clear goal of vetting our social media accounts online and our relationships offline. Unfollowing content, or relationships, that drain or disempower us emotionally and replacing them with something that energizes or empowers us is a game changer when practiced overtime.

Even “positive” content can be emotionally exhausting though, so it’s important to limit our intake of social media regardless and give the mind a rest. Taking a full blown fast from social media is recommended too. This can simply mean switching off the phone and going for a walk in Nature, exercising in the gym or whatever works for you personally. Different strokes for different folks.

Avoiding social media, and the phone itself, when starting or finishing the day is imperative because they tend to be sources of unpredictable stimulation which have the potential to hijack us mentally and emotionally, which not only degrades our capacity to be creative and productive in the pursuit of our personal goals, but it also makes us more susceptible to classical conditioning and other forms of brainwashing.

Instead, we need to practice starting and finishing the day with intentionality, which is to say with an intentional creative purpose aligned with our own personal agenda for our lives. If you have not yet cultivated a sense of deeper purpose, no worries, just doing something emotionally empowering or grounding such as listening to our favorite music or reading a self-empowering book or practicing meditation are beneficial and will help to declutter the mind. Once we start to quiet the external noise, we can start to explore the internal noise and observe how we ourselves have been programmed in some ways for self-sabotage.

It will take time but with repetition, and commitment, we can make critical thinking our autopilot and way of life which culminates in the invaluable reward of self-control, intellectual autonomy and ethical emancipation from unconscious servitude to the Parasite Class.

Unlearning Helplessness

Many moons ago, around 20 years or so, I struggled with suicidal thoughts and feelings. But because I held a predominantly Christian view of the world back then, I believed that taking my own life would only exacerbate my pain in purgatory. Suffering, as interpreted from my limited perception of reality was inescapable, so I self-medicated with alcohol and irrational self-destructive decisions on a daily basis to endure it. In hindsight, this was learned helplessness, the belief that nothing could be done to create lasting positive change in my life.

Confronted with braving what was becoming an intolerable environment internally, I began to seek answers outside of my awareness resulting in the obsessive consumption of anything on healing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and even brain damage.

Soon enough, because I was deeply insecure and deluded into thinking the vast majority of the world’s population were hostile towards me personally, I began studying psychological warfare for what I viewed as defensive purposes. Unknowingly, these decisions and a highly unusual lifepath inevitably prepared me psychologically for the emotional climate of these stressful times we collectively find ourselves living in.

I wrote a concise blog in 2017 on how to attenuate depression and unlearn helplessness that will help those of you who feel overwhelmed by the emotional heaviness of life right now. For a much deeper dive that delves into my own personal journey and remains timelessly relevant I wrote a lengthy blog back in 2016 I recommend checking out too. Much has happened since then, namely almost dying in 2019 and then being diagnosed with a potentially fatal autoimmune disorder, which has driven me even deeper into self-healing, but that is another story for another day.

For now, I am diligently working on Truth Warrior Academy which will be launched in the coming months. In relation to the contents of this blog, the second course will explore psychological warfare dating back to antiquity and how we can protect ourselves from the Parasite class and fight back intelligently.

Until then, I hope this reading will help you navigate the psychological climate of these challenging times and serve as a sobering reminder that the real revolution starts within!
