According to MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian, multiple DOJ officials plan to resign over Comey’s indictment.

Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted on two counts by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia – false statements and obstruction.

Comey will be arraigned on October 9. Former US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald is representing Comey.

James Comey’s son-in-law, Troy Edwards, resigned from the US Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Virginia after Comey was indicted on Thursday evening.

Troy Edwards was a prosecutor on the Oath Keepers January 6 trial.

More Deep State DOJ officials will be self-deporting over Comey’s indictment.

“Many people who work in the Justice Department feel like they can no longer function there and are trying to leave,” MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian said.

US District Judge Michael Nachmanoff, a Biden appointee, was ‘randomly’ assigned to Comey’s case after the former FBI agent was indicted on two federal criminal counts by a jury in the Eastern District of Virginia.

“Nachmanoff, who sits in a federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia, has had some brushes with Trump world before. As a federal magistrate judge, Nachmanoff presided over the 2019 arraignment of two associates of Rudy Giuliani — Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman — who were charged with campaign finance violations. He released them on a $1 million bond,” Politico reported.
