Deborah Finck, the TikTok star who was featured alongside her family on Nanny 911, died on January 14 after a five-year battle with leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

“To my mommy, my best friend, my sunshine — thank you for everything you’ve done for me,” wrote Deborah Finck’s daughter Katerina, on Instagram. “You were the most beautiful mother and the best mommy anyone could ever ask for. You taught me strength, courage, bravery, and what it means to truly love and never give up. You believed in me, stood by me, and showed me the meaning of unconditional love.”

“Deborah was my partner in every sense of the word—my confidant, my rock, the love of my life, and my eternal soul mate. Together, we built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories I will cherish forever,” wrote Finck’s husband Paul on social media.

Born in Norwalk, Connecticut in 1967, Deborah Finck was a content creator, social media influencer, reality TV personality and the mother of six children. The family was featured in a 2005 episode of the Fox reality series, Nanny 911. Loosely based on the British television program Little Angels, Nanny 911 featured American families with active children who were managed by British nannies (including one who served for the royal family).

More recently, Finck documented her battle with cancer on TikTok and Instagram to more than 80o,000 followers. In her final video shared on Monday, January 13, Finck addressed a fan who explained how her story has helped him cope with his severe depression, anxiety, PTSD and suicidal thoughts.

Katerina noted on Instagram that fans could donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Finck’s honor and in lieu of sending flowers. “I love you, mommy, forever and always. ❤️🌻,” Katerina wrote.
