Dispatcher Joseph Pritchard has been named the 2024 Dispatcher of the Year for the Mansfield Post. According to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, this award recognizes one dispatcher at each post for outstanding service.
Pritchard is a 2022 graduate of Clear Fork High School where he was captain of the track and field team. He began his career with the Patrol on May 1, 2023.
In his short time, Pritchard has shown qualities that make him an exemplary choice for the award. He takes pride in assisting the community and enjoys engaging with the public. His commitment and dedication to service have been noted by his peers and supervisors.
The Dispatcher of the Year award highlights the important role dispatchers play in law enforcement and community safety.
Another Clear Fork alumnus, Christian Reed, was named 2024 Trooper of the Year at the Mansfield Post.
