Following his Grammy win, two of Chris Stapleton’s biggest albums, Traveller and Higher, return to … [+]
Following the 2025 Grammy Awards, Chris Stapleton has now won exactly half of all the trophies he’s been nominated for. The superstar took home another honor this time around, as “It Takes a Woman” was named the Best Country Solo Performance. It was his eleventh trophy out of 22 total nominations.
The excitement around his coming out on top, beating hits from the likes of Shaboozey, Kacey Musgraves, Jelly Roll, and Beyoncé, helps the singer-songwriter climb on the charts in the United Kingdom. This week, Stapleton advances from zero to two wins on one tally.
On the latest edition of the Official Country Artist Albums chart, the U.K.’s list of the most successful releases in that genre, Stapleton claims 10% of the roster. The tally features just 20 spaces, so a pair of winners is enough to give him control over that impressive percentage of the entire roster.
Last week, Stapleton didn’t appear on the Official Country Artist Albums chart at all. Both of his current smashes return to the tally, though neither is even relatively new to the list.
Traveller is Stapleton’s current biggest hit on the list of the bestselling country albums throughout the U.K. The singer’s debut project on his own, which turned him into a superstar almost overnight, comes in at No. 14.
Just a few spaces further down is, ironically, Higher. Stapleton’s latest release, which was up for Best Country Album at the Grammys–but lost to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter–is also a top 20 bestseller again. This frame, it reenters the list at No. 17.
Throughout his career, Stapleton has sent five projects to the Official Country Artist Albums chart. All of them have hit No. 1, and lived there for several frames. Traveller collected five stays at the summit, while Higher is up to three.
Traveller is easily Stapleton’s longest-running win on the Official Country Artist Albums chart, and it’s possible that none of his other studio efforts will ever catch up. The set has lived on the short roster for 303 weeks, though it’s managed that lofty sum across many different stints. Higher, as his newest entry, also ranks as his studio effort with the fewest number of turns on the roster, with just 58.
This week, Stapleton is one of four musicians to occupy more than a single space on the Official Country Artist Albums chart. That’s not such a great accomplishment on other lists, ones that feature 100 or even 200 spots, but when a tally is just 20 rungs long, claiming more than one position is typically reserved for the biggest names in the genre.
Luke Combs leads all acts with a trio of smashes on the latest Official Country Artist Albums chart. Stapleton is currently tied with both Zach Bryan and Taylor Swift who both see two of their country projects appear on the tally.
