The Chinese Foreign Ministry declared Beijing supportive of “all efforts towards a peaceful settlement in Ukraine” on Monday and emphasized support for dialogue following Russian strongman Vladimir Putin’s visit to Alaska on Friday to meet with President Donald Trump.
