“Pink Pony Club” launches on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 this frame. Roan’s latest focus opens at No. 40 on Billboard’s recently-introduced ranking of the most successful tracks on TikTok all across America.
Throughout her career, Roan has now landed just two hits on the TikTok Billboard Top 50. Both of them have become quick top 40 smashes, which isn’t too shocking given that the ranking only features 50 spaces.
Before “Pink Pony Club,” only Roan’s “Casual” had also reached the list. That track rose all the way to No. 8 this past September, and it spent a total of seven weeks somewhere on the tally.
“Pink Pony Club” is one of nine debuts on this week’s TikTok Billboard Top 50. Only two tracks, Pink’s “Try” (No. 44) and Beyoncé’s “7/11” (No. 49), start lower than Roan’s latest placement. Several other cuts by superstars like J Balvin, Chief Keef, and Lady Gaga manage to beat her, at least when it comes to debuts.
This week, “Pink Pony Club” lives on eight traditional Billboard charts, which are powered by some form of consumption, such as sales, streams, airplay, or a combination of all three. Roan’s “new” smash lives inside the top 10 on three of them, as it bolts into that region on both the Streaming Songs chart and the Hot 100 at the same time.
Roan won her first Grammy at the recent telecast, as she claimed Best New Artist. She also performed during the show, highlighting “Pink Pony Club,” which was actually released several years ago, and is only just now finally earning its due on the charts.
